As the three-day 2010 NFL draft ended with each team landing a bunch of new faces, what’s expected to be seen in the preseason games is also coming to a conclusion. Here we will have a look at what the Minnesota Vikings fans are expecting of the preseason.
The Vikings’ first preseason show will be against the St. Louis Rams on August 14. With the first overall pick, quarterback Sam Bradford, the Rams will have a chance to test whether the rookie quarterback deserves all the fame, while the Vikings could have a overall view of how well their rookies could deal with situations in a real game.
The second game is to playing against the San Francisco 49ers on Aug. 22. While the 49ers will feature newly drafted offensive linemen Anthony Davis and Mike Lupati as well as safety Taylor Mays and wide receiver Ted Ginn, the Vikings are expected to show what performance cornerback Chris Cook and running back Toby Gerhart can give off if they are given important roles to play.
The third game against Seattle Seahawks will be the debut of left tackle Russell Okung and safety Earl Thomas, who are likely to co-work with veterans like running backs Leon Washington and LenDale White. However, this game will be much less attractive then the last one, September 2nd’s game against the Denver Broncos, who drafted the most high-profile quarterback Tim Tebow. Before the draft, some people thought that Tebow could be a perfect fit with the Vikings and regretted he did not have the chance to put on the purple Vikings jersey but joined the Broncos as the 25th overall pick. Whatsoever, Tebow will anyway play at the Mall of America Field for his first time, and Vikings fans could judge from his performance whether it’s really a pity that the Vikings missed him.

QB Tebow is making adjustment for NFL future
Although the University of Florida quarterback Tim Tebow won a Heisman Trophy and two national championships, he has not been considered to be a polished pro style quarterback, and his slow windup and release drew heavy criticism. Therefore, he decides to overhaul the way he throws ball so that he could impress NFL teams to get chance playing pro football in NFL jerseys.
"I’m not changing who I am or how I approach football," Tebow told ESPN. "But there are things that I can get a lot better at—my fundamentals. I’ve never been asked to shorten or quicken my release and not have a loop in it. The changes I’m making have gone very well and it’s becoming more and more natural to me. I want to get better. I want to be around people who will push me. I will do anything to get better. Without hearing the criticism, I would have done it. It’s made me more confident, more accurate. And that’s not to say I haven’t had this type of coaching in the past. I just have had different coaching than this NFL style."
Tebow is not going to throw at the NFL scouting combine but is working with coaches Zeke Bradkowski, Marc Trestman, Noel Mazzone and Sam Wyche to adjust to higher level before his Pro Day workout. Hope his changes will be the right ones to bring him success.

More came out to doubt Tebow’s future in NFL
Will Tim Tebow be chosen by any NFL team and begin his career in NFL jerseys soon? Some believe that the Florida legendary quarterback will start a new legend in NFL, while some doubters think the contrary- one of them even advised Tebow to retire after his college football career ends.
It is former Notre Dame and Redskins star quarterback Joe Theismann, who said that retiring would have "preserved Tebow’s rock star status." Theismann also said that he did not plan to have any kind words for the style of offense Tebow’s team played.
"Obviously at Florida they don’t teach throwing the football," Theismann told host for Jacksonville station 1010XL in a Super Bowl radio row interview Mike Dempsey, who went on to mention Urban Meyer and his staff have "no clue" in terms of developing quarterbacks for the NFL.
Well, who knows what to happen before Tebow is actually in the NFL? If he could be a legend in Florida at all, there must be something good in this quarterback. And why no legend again?
